Food Security and Nutrition

IDF-Sis dedicated to promoting food security and nutrition within communities in Belet-hawa district, Gedo region as part of our efforts to combat climate change. We work closely with local farmers to implement sustainable farming practices, such as agroforestry and organic farming, that enhance soil fertility and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Through support, training and capacity-building programs, we empower communities to grow diverse and climate-resilient crops, ensuring access to nutritious food year-round. By strengthening local food systems, we strive to alleviate hunger, improve health outcomes, and create a sustainable future for generations to come.
